So, Bill and I saw "Memoirs of a Geisha" over the Christmas holiday. It was entertaining, but not fabulous. I was expecting more I guess. I thought it was about 20 minutes too long. The scenery was beautiful, but something was missing. I just didn't connect with any of the characters.
Oh well - it was good to get out and about.

I read the book and was looking forward to seeing the movie when it comes out on DVD. Perhaps I'll have to change my plans...
